How we work
Most installers sell you a kit and a day's labour. We're an EPC: we engineer the system, procure the equipment and construct it with our own crews. Nothing gets handed to a subcontractor you've never met.

ProcureJinko panels, ATESS inverters, Freedom Won batteries. Tier-one equipment with warranties we register in your name.

Questions we get asked
What does United Solar do?
United Solar is a solar EPC based in Roodepoort. We engineer, procure and construct rooftop solar, battery backup and hybrid systems for homes, businesses and farms across the West Rand and Gauteng, and we maintain them afterwards through our United Care plan.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Roodepoort and work across the West Rand — Krugersdorp, Randfontein, Magaliesburg and surrounds — and the wider Gauteng area, including Johannesburg.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. Every system is installed by our own in-house crews. The people who design your system are the people who install it and the people who answer the phone afterwards.
What equipment do you install?
Jinko solar panels, ATESS inverters and Freedom Won lithium batteries — tier-one equipment with manufacturer warranties registered in your name.
Is a Certificate of Compliance included?
Yes. Every installation is signed off with an electrical Certificate of Compliance (CoC) and a PV GreenCard.
Do you offer finance?
Yes. Rent-to-own finance options are available for solar and battery systems.
