Who we are
United Solar is a Roodepoort-based EPC — we engineer, procure and construct solar and battery systems for homes, businesses and farms across the West Rand and Gauteng. We've been doing it since 2020, and we do it with our own crews rather than subcontractors.
How we got here
We started in 2020 as a household installer and grew into a company with several installation teams and an operations office behind them. Same people, same registration number, and every warranty, contract and Certificate of Compliance we have ever issued remains fully valid.
What we believe
- One company, start to finish. The people who design your system are the people who install it and the people who answer the phone afterwards.
- Sized honestly. We quote from your bill and your loads. We'd rather sell you the right system than the biggest one.
- Still here in year ten. Monitoring, reporting and maintenance are part of the job, not an add-on.

The company was founded in 2020 in Roodepoort, on the West Rand, and has grown from a household installer into a company with several installation crews and an operations office.

What is a solar EPC?
EPC stands for engineer, procure and construct. An EPC designs the system, buys the equipment and builds it with its own teams, rather than reselling a kit and subcontracting the installation.
